Utah consumer confidence reaches record, but worries are plentiful

The confidence of Utahns in the economy moved higher in August, buoyed by improving job and housing outlooks and rising stock prices. Zions Bank on Tuesday said its Consumer Attitude Index reached 88.4 this month, up 2.8 points from a revised 85.6 in July. The index, created in January 2011, is at a record high.
