Provo’s Ancestry.com reports increase in subscribers

Provo-based Ancestry.com, the world’s largest online family-history resource, reported a second-quarter revenue of $131.9 million and a 5.3 percent increase in subscribers. The total subscribers for all of the company’s websites, including Ancestry.com, Archives.com, Fold3.com and Newspapers.com, was 2,715,000 as of Tuesday, according to the company’s second-quarter 2013 financial results.
