Home sales and prices along the five-county Wasatch Front area were up sharply in the second quarter, the Salt Lake Board of Realtors said Thursday.
In Salt Lake County, the number of single-family homes sold in the April-through-June period totaled 3,430, a 12.2 percent increase from 3,058 homes in the same period of last year, according to the real estate group.
The median price of a home sold in the county was $249,700, up 17 percent from $213,000 a year earlier.
