Utah AFL-CIO names new vice president

The board of the Utah AFL-CIO labor union has named Mike Lee its new vice president. Lee takes over that post from Dale M. Cox, who automatically became president of the labor group after the death of Jim Judd, who was killed a motorcycle accident last month. Lee is a training coordinator for the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office and founder of the union now called the Unified Police Federation AFSCME 45.
