Amazon says Kindle Fire is sold out

NEW YORK • Amazon.com Inc. quenched the Kindle Fire on Thursday, saying its first tablet computer is now “sold out.” The Internet retailer has a major press conference scheduled for next Thursday in Santa Monica, Calif.
